First comes love, then comes the party
You know it, we know it: food can make or break a wedding. If fresh, delicious, rave-worthy food is a non-negotiable for your big day — you’re in the right place.

The Spaces.

The Courtyard
Romantic, cosy & surrounded by lush green foliage year-round, you could be mistaken for thinking you're somewhere in Tuscany! The courtyard is a timeless ceremony, dining or milling space, with ample natural backdrops for photographs.
-
The Mezzanine
White, light and airy with charming juliette balconies — this modern space is beautiful as is, but is also a neutral canvas to style your way. Large arch windows offer spectacular golden hour lighting and unrivalled views of Te Mata Peak.
-
The Vine Patio
A perfectly secluded grapevine patio space for saying ‘I do,’ or a relaxed mingling/alfresco dining area for smaller weddings.
-
The Harvest Room
A fantastic wet weather space, dance floor or mingling area — with beautiful double doors that open out onto the Courtyard. High cathedral ceilings & windows bathe the space in natural light.
-
The Dining Room
Another ‘Plan B’ indoor space with endless opportunities to make your own (and a highly accessible option if dining upstairs in the mezzanine is not ideal for some guests).

“We hunted high and low for a venue that was able to be personalised. We had a clear vision for our styling, so we wanted a space we could easily make our own. As soon as we saw St Georges, we knew it was the perfect canvas. It’s a really versatile space — with multiple areas that can be utilised in different ways — in a very classic, inviting setting.
The team organised for us to have our ceremony in the neighbouring apple orchard (amazing!) then we all moved into the outdoor courtyard for the reception — it’s beautiful and leafy, with a Mediterranean feel to it. Even though we had 75 guests, the space felt very intimate.
The venue was everything we hoped for, but Kat was the real standout. From our first interaction she was so helpful. Most venues offer a stock-standard experience (“these are our packages”), but Kat was so accommodating. We were planning the wedding remotely, so communication was key & it was always top notch. Nothing was too hard… even our idea of lowering a big 80s-style piñata cake from the mezzanine down to the dance floor!
We walked away from our experience feeling like we’d become friends. And the food was obviously stunning — everyone went nuts over the maple whipped butter and the melt in yo’ mouth lamb.”
