Real food,
real flavours
St Georges is the ultimate foodie destination, spearheaded by top NZ chef Francky Godinho who’s known to push the boundaries.
We specialise in modern European food that flirts with other cuisines, which means our menus have something for everyone — the health-conscious, the experimental, the coeliacs, the herbivores, and of course, the lovers of tried & true classics.
It’s refined, yet relaxed. Our dishes may evolve with the seasons but our focus on fresh, masterfully-prepared food remains constant.
Add a dash of genuine hospitality and carefully curated beverage list of beer, wine and signature cocktails — and you’ve got a recipe for an unforgettable dining experience.
From our garden to your plate
Picture this: you bite into the infamous St Georges crispy pork belly. It’s arguably the best thing you’ve ever tasted. The fennel & beetroot were picked that morning. The pork is free-range from a local farm. The plums have been foraged from neighbouring properties. You cross your fingers & hope no one asks you for a bite — as this is not a dish you’re willing to share under any circumstances.
The gardens surrounding our venue aren't there for looks, they sustain our restaurant year-long with their bounty. If you take a wander through the garden after your meal you’ll see why our food looks & tastes so fresh — you can literally see where it’s come from!
Our menus are graced by only the best locally-sourced ingredients. And as we grow 90% of our own produce, our farm to table offering is as authentic as you can get.
Living self-sustainably is a way of life for us at St Georges. Our ethos is centred on organically grown, grass-fed, handpicked real food. Because real food tastes better.
